Buying 2000 LX 66000 Miles: What Shoud Be Inspected?

Before handing over the cash I want to check all areas of concern. The car was in Miami for several years. The belts show signs of beginning to crack but not badly. CV Boots are in good shape. Only thing "significant" is major oxidation of the aluminum engine due to salt air but naturally this affects nothing. No Oil Leaks.

Are Belts Tough to Replace on This Car?
Anything I Should Inspect Carefully?

usually belts should be replaced every 90k miles. accessory belts are not too difficult, its the timing belt that takes some work. just do an overall check and make sure there are no leaks and the car drives smoothly when warmed up.

Re: Buying 2000 LX 66000 Miles: What Shoud Be Inspected?

Bought the car but here is the killer: Car Looks Almost Pristine Considering it is a 2000. Interior almost flawless, no wear, etc. The analog odometer is NOT perfectly lined up however. CV Boots are original and not torn, basically everything looks and runs perfect. Car Fax is clear and checks out.

I Wonder If It Was A Rollback And How Could It Be When a 10 Year Old Car Looks New? The first 2 digits the 60K and the 6K are perfect, the other 3 are slightly off.
Any Ideas?

ive seen that happen alot on the older odometers. i dont think you have to worry. some people just dont drive much. our 92 accord only has 90k miles and its in pretty good shape too.
