Bug Deflector - Not Fitting

Hi... would anyone know if a bug deflector for a 2001-2003 Honda Civic will fit a 2005 Honda Civic.
I was told at the store it would. After installing, the hood doesn't seem to close properly, not as tight as it was without the deflector.
Any help at all is appreciated.

i think they should, but with aftermarket parts you will always have some fitment issues. you can try adjusting the rubber stoppers so the hood sits higher or lower.
