Clutch activates starter 97 civic

I have a 97 civic, and the problem im trying to solve is that when i press the clutch in, the starter activates and the car starts. No key needed, nothing. So when im driving and switch gears, the clutch yet again, activates the starter causing it to grind. Need help asap!
