Question Help me on choosing a Civic please? =)

Ok, so I am choosing my first 4 cylinder. I need help on what to choose. I like the body styles of the 96-98 models but I don't want a hatch. Only a 2 door coupe. I plan on modding the car. Throw me some ideas. I want a good body style for racing. All help and advice is appreciated. To remove this ad, register today for free or log in if already registered!

Really depends buddy... If you want something for racing, the lighter the better. The older you go the lighter they come.... I have a 97 and that was my first choice. It's not to elderly and not too new and the body style is just perfect... But my second choice would be a 95. It's all on preference I guess. Just my opnion.

Re: Help me on choosing a Civic please? =)

Unless you have a shit load of money, go older then 2001 or 2006+ SI. I love my 05 em2 and enjoyed my old 02 em2 but as I have been taught through this site, 01-05 equals SLOW and expensive to mod. If you have money to burn though and your willing to add a turbo and crower kits + whatever else is needed or a K-swap to get real horse power out of a EM2 and you like something closer to a old school civic, then go with the 7thgen. I like the 8th gen but I prefer something close to the Civic standard, even if it's slow. Always wanted a 6th gen SI. That's my two sense.

Re: Help me on choosing a Civic please? =)

hey, no double about the s2000. civic is not bad at all bad. At least a Civic with an SI, may be one with a vetc. Now a day, you have a hard time to find a civic. Everyone loves them.

Good luck, don't forget to post your car when you find one. I would like to see your choice. Some on line site, you can find some cheap one.

My friend find a VW 2003 hatch back silver and bargan to 7 grand. Nice paint only one ding and perfect interior. Clean...

do more research and wish you luck!!!
