Question #1- Is a Dual Chamber Intake System better than a Cold Air Intake system?
Question #2- Is a Cold Air Intake that goes down into the engine bay with or without a heat shield better than a cold air intake that stays on top of the engine bay but has a heat shield?

dual chamber is better because it speeds up air flow, which is more important than air temp when you are maybe only getting air that is 10 degrees cooler than under the hood. and cold air intakes like to suck in water and ruin the engine.
heat shield doesnt matter, hot air can easily move around it. none of this really matters anyway, you will not notice any difference between all the different setups. get a short ram intake that sits in the engine bay and it will be the safest bet.

dual chamber refers to the pipe design (two pipes in one). all the systems ive seen are short ram with the filter in the engine bay. in fact the only one for our civics is the weapon-r secret weapon. aem v2 claims to have dual chamber but its not what you think, its actually two different size pipes one after the other, not a second tube inside the first tube.

ok...are there any other brands of intakes that makes a dual chamber intake system? i was reading up on the secret weapon and i read its not very loud. do u notice a big difference with the secret weapon intake? hp difference?
i like the WR mainly because of the oiled foam filter (great filtration and design for better airflow) and looks, but maybe it gives some hp too idk. its not too loud but you will still hear it.
