civic 1997 problem

Hello,
I need help with my honda civic please...just today i was driving . and then when car change take between 20 to 25 five mile/hrs make something that look that Honda lost power for fwe second an then running well check engine light came on sometime and RPMs are very low, . please help me out...what can this
