Civic book

Is there a book on civics that explains its mechanics well? I've just started learning about this, so I'm looking for a comprehensive book for a beginner. Any suggestions are appreciated. To remove this ad, register today for free or log in if already registered!

Re: Civic book

Yes. You can go to the dealer and buy the manual or autozone and kragen sells them too. But, I would go with the actual Honda manual.

Re: Civic book

Do you mean the manual that came with it when it was purchased? Or are you referring to something that goes more in depth?

I'm looking to learn how my car actually works and the terminology regarding various parts, among other things. I've read through my owner's manual and it's a start, but it doesn't cover what I'm interested in.

Re: Civic book

go with the honda service manual its as thick as a phone book. www.handaaccessories.com carries it for the 01+ civic for $80. if you want more of a book about aftermarket modding, check out "civic duty" by alan paradise.
