Car start issue

My car when i go to turn ity over it makes a low humming noise sometimes and doesnt start, wondering if this could be a problem, i turn it over again right after and it starts after struggling

Could possibly be the fuel pump. not 100% sure, but worth a look.

fuel pump would suck but would that stop it from turning over?
i could understand the prolonged turning over

starter solinoid perhaps ps 1.5 or 1.6

1.5 i think it might be corrosion on battery terminals maybe??

Does your battery lite come on at all? if not then u shouldnt be haveing batt issues. how many miles does the car have? depending on how the maintanence has been, could be a leaky head gasket

if he has high millage on the car he might want to try using some lucus fuel injector cleaner. his injectors might be clogged up and its not putting the right amount fuel in his engine. and another thing is check your battery at a local parts store and make them check the cca (cold cranking amp) try running the lucus first it wont hurt anything you mix it with your gass then try testing you battery. let me know something.

well yeah, i work at a mechanics shop never really brought it in yet though it does not do it often, car does not burn oil has 233000 KMs on it, does not go through antifreeze either so head gasket is finne, ill try the lucas tho that sounds good, or just AC delco fuel injector cleaner
