Replaced my sisters radio in her 2000 Honda Civic 4 Dr. Sedan over the weekend... now the dash lights don't work.
Of course now I have to troubleshoot. The turn signals work, all the light indicators for oil, gas...etc. light up. All tail lights work... I pulled out the dimmer switch last night and it turns with ease but doesn't have a definitive stop click or anything. I don't know if it should though. The fuses all look good. Is there another fuse box to check or is the one under the steering whell the primary one for the dash lights? Is there a way to test to see if the dimmer switch is bad? need to know before I go and and order a new dimmer and then have that not resolve the problem. Please advise!
