Front motor mount torned??

I went to honda dealer for an oil change.
(i'm gonna do my oil change myself from now on, by the way.)
The service guy came to me and said
the front motor mount got torned up and i have to replace it.
he said the total cost would be $150 including labor and parts.
i was wondering if this is something i can work out in my garage.
what parts and tools do i need to do this?

(i dont even kno what the front motor mount is
but i'm pretty good at playing with tools and machines.)

Sounds like you should be able to do it. Here is a picture.

Re: Front motor mount torned??

If its just a rip, just get a Energy suspension motor mount insert. It will last longer than a new mount.
