tail of the dragon meet pics! (56k say your prayers)

well since i was the only one that showed up, might as well post pics. its an amazing place, i hope everyone gets a chance to see it sometime. very beautiful and lots of fun driving spots. if you drive the actual tail of the dragon (hwy 129), it is now taken over by cops ever since motorcycle riders got killed. so they decided to send out 15 cars to pull every import and out of state car for wreckless driving, meaning taking turns too fast. i got stopped too, i think they were just being pricks cause nobody was losing traction or crossing the lines (except motorcycles). i almost hit a few actually when they came in my lane. but anyway, they think the cars are at fault. there was an acura meet the same day, and all their cars were pulled over in a parking lot too. anyway onto the pics. there are still plenty of other highways to drive on where there are no pigs to ruin your fun. oh yeah and on the way home i went through the dragon one last time at 5am and not a single cop or car in sight it was great, except i almost hit a deer lol.

I still have the dragon on my list of places to visit. But that right there is why I didn't go to the meet...because no one updated on it. I figured that hardly anyone would show up...so much for a national meet. Hope it was worth ur while, gearbox. Looks like some definite fun tho. Did u stop by the deal's gap store at the end?

well its 30 on that part of the road with all the curves, and there are slower speeds around curves, but cops want you to almost stop which is very annoying when you have a car that can make the turn going 15-20 without losing traction.

i have 2 finger gap all around on eibach prokit and new tokicos i just had installed before driving there. yeah its oem lip kit

sucks no one showed i figured no one would. so what happened to the jdm tails?

they are backordered i guess and/or they wont sell me one part so i couldnt replace the broken piece. i just got the depo led tails which im much happier with (and safer too, leds are very bright). black ones didnt really match very well when everything else was clear lens.

the passenger inner tail was badly cracked and water was going in. i think it happened cause all those gravel rocks on the turnoffs were getting kicked onto the road, and the motorcycles were driving over flicking them up. i had a big spot on the bumper too that paint got chipped off down to the black plastic

ouch man that sucks. if it werent for the red being smoked you could have easily used an 03-05 inner but shitty. hope all is well. i think i could dig up the part number for the inners if you wanted to go to honda. sometimes they can get the uber rare parts

i asked dealer already and they said they cant order stuff like that lol. they couldnt even get orange si markers.

your not talking to the right people in parts lol. somehow the dealer i go to can get jdm stuff. all they need is a part number.

hmm lol would you mind getting one, i can pay for the part, shipping and some extra for your troubles. its the passenger side inner tail with reverse light. i walked in before with a jdm number and they couldnt find it in the system.
