How often do you wash your civic?

I wash my car once a week religiously. I just hate when its dirty...

What about you guys?

Is it bad to continually wash the car? Im worried I'll wear the paint...

I cant see how you can harm the car by washing it. More that you'd harm if it was left dirty all the time.
As long as you dry it properly, it wont rust and you're doing the paint job a service by washing it once a week.

I do mine once a month if that...

ok good, cause I still wash it once a week, sometimes twice if Im bored.
If I see a mark on the car I'll wash the whole thing again.

I wash my car every two weeks or so but if I go on a long trip, she gets washed the night before.

I use this stuff called nu finish in the orange bottle. It puts a little extra sheen on there. I would say soap and water s ok unless you have an unglazed metallic finish that will wear and rust. I had an old t bird like this, had to be careful not to let water settle in the car wash.

Every Sunday morning. If I dont get to it, I start to notice how dirty everything is and make myself miserable.

I still use nu finish, it's great wax, easy to use and creates an awesome shine. It came out so many years ago but still works great.

Ive used nu finish for several years...till now. Some car enthusiats I know raved about Zymol. I broke down a few weeks ago and spent the 18 bucks on a bottle of the cleaner wax for my wife's Mazda. I will never use another wax. The stuff is absolutly brilliant. It took away all the deep black specks and impurities in the paint and left a mirror shine. I highly recommend it!

Leave my trusty nu finish! Never! I used it in college and made my 80's K car look good!

But that must be some wax is the Zymol... Hmmn have to give it a try. Got to keep up with the new technoolgy.

I might have to try that Zymol but... I've always been a Meguires product user and have never been disappointed...
