I'd like to paint my brake calipers... just for fun.

Here you go-
http://www.nsxprime.com/FAQ/DIY/paintingcalipers.htm

I have not done this myself but have done research in the past.
What color do you want to paint them, and what color is your car?
I think it can look awesome IF done properly.

Just buy the right paint..

^^what he said, just dont do them like lime green or something haha. Just go to your local napa/autozone/checker/pep boys etc. and buy some, at the stores here they sell kits that for it, its like 30 bux and comes with instructions and everything you need.

I used Dupli-color paint for the calipers. Got it at wal-mart for real cheap. Its really simple to put on. just a couple coats with a small paint brush, maybe a 1" one and a small tooth brush to get the small parts and ur good. That DIY is good but thats expensive and time consuming. I painted mine while they were on the car. just cleaned the caliper off and everything and it was all good.

You can also use spray-paint that you use to paint ur engine with, it withstands like 400 degrees of heat its alot cheaper than those dulicolor kits and still has a nice finish to it. Since its spray, just spray it into a cup or something and then you can use a brush to apply it

Nice link. I would have been concerned primarily with the brake dust issue.

And god point on the hardener. It would be hard to do all 4 at once.

But sanding down to aluminum on the logo is too hardcore for me!!!
