Manual or Auto

i have an auto, and i hate it. i wish i had a MT. its just so boring driving a AT i can drive a MT and i have...ie driving not so "capable" people home but i love to control, so im just trying to find someway to switch. ive heard its a little $$ and its not always "trustworthy" ive had friends that did it and they say its better to do a motor and tranny swap.....

it depends on what your intentions are, if you are not one of those people that like to go trought all that troble of bulding a car and race from time to time stick to an auto, if you are the other type forgget about auto you will regreted belive me, i been througt that road before.

My civic is a manual and thankfully, it was my first one. My parents all know how to drive manual or standard transmissions and when it came for me to drive, like when i was 15, they said learn stick or you don't drive.

SO i learned stick and I love it. Manual over auto any day.

X2 I needed a car and found a nice civic the only thing was it was a auto. But I will say this when I get into traffic I love my auto other than that I want my manual.

I will admit I beat my car to all h*** and have went threw a trans so I got a new one and I am a tad less harsh on it no more n dropping. I want a manual

i used to drive a 96 manual but i drive a 2000 automatic now. my dad said that he wants to borrow my car from time to time and he's too lazy for a manual (city driving. the traffic hellish from where i came from).

at first, i was bummed about it. but when i learned to drive at 110 kph at d3, i learned to love it.

i wish i still have my manual though...
