Depends what you want to do really. 17s are okay. 18s are better though.

Its only an inch difference, but its noticable. 17's are better for performance generally, but 18s will fit nicely if you get some upgraded suspension.

i own a 2000 civic coupe, go for the 17, i purchased 18 and every time i went up my driveway or hit a bump it would make a bad rubbing sound and eventually ruined my cars tire and body. go 17"

upgraded suspension would put stress on the tranny and ruin it.
