Rep Power: 0 removing/installing side view mirror?? help
Alright so last night i was at the bar and, along with 3 other cars, some d**che bag broke my side view mirror off on the drivers side of my EX sedan. I found that majestic only charge like $90 for it and my local dealer wants $120. I figure i'd order it from majestic and save the install money by doign this myself. one problem, HOW? I'm not goin through insurance cause i have to pay the first $500 and there's no way it will be more than that so either way im payin, so i might as well save some dough and not raise my rates. Let me know if you know how to install a new mirror. thanks.

Rep Power: 0 It's easy...just remove the black piece (tweeter pod if you have an EX) on the inside of the car opposite of the mirror. It'll just pull off. Undo the nuts, unclip the wires, and put the new mirror on...you're done!

Rep Power: 388 1. Take off the door panel
2. Pull out triangular piece next to the sideview mirror
3. Unbolt old mirror by removing the 3 nuts holding it on and unplug power cable.
4. Plug in power cord to mirror.
5. Bolt new mirror on using same 3 nuts
6. Replace triangulare piece.
7. Replace the door panel.

Rep Power: 388 When I put on my M3 mirrors I had to take the door panel off to get the triangular piece off. But then again I had to take the panel off anyways because I had to run the turn signal wires from the mirror.

Rep Power: 0 If you wanna do a S Hhhitty Job then just take off the tweeter pod and scratch up the paint around it but trying to take the bottom 2 nuts off. I you want a nice job then take the panels off. Get M3 mirror for like 40 bux and get them painted for 50 bux. Forget just getting one mirror. I'm sure you can sell the other one for at least 40 bucks.

Re: removing/installing driver side mirror?? help
Hi guys,
I have a Honda Civic Es I-vtec 2007 (silver). I need to replace the full wing mirror driver side. It has indicators and folds electrically... Could anyone give the steps to install this properly?
Any help would be much appreciated...
Thanks
