Question How to bypass low pressure AC switch?

I have a 2001 Civic EX (autocoupe), and I need to recharge my AC. However, all the refrigerant leaked out when I had my accident in February, and since what was in there was "contaminated," the Goodyear guys can't do anything because it would screw up their equipment. My AC was working just fine on the contaminated stuff, and all that's left is traces, so my dad and I are just going to refill it with new refrigerant and recharge it ourselves. They said the only way to get it to recharge with no refrigerant to start is to bypass the low pressure switch (or something like that). How do I do this? I live in SoCal and it's already over 90 degrees... I need my AC! ^^;;
Thanks!
