Tie-Rod replacement?

Anybody ever replaced a tie-rod?
more specifically it's bushings i suppose.

my driver side tie-rod is extremely loose compared to my passenger's, which is stiff as a rod, which is what i am guessing it causing the wobbling feeling in my steering wheel while driving...

anyways, any help will be helpful :P

Re: Tie-Rod replacement?

yeah i had to change mine. torn boots and they started to wiggle loose and almost fell out. i heard loud clunk sound when turning the wheel. you will completely lose steering control if they fall out so get those fixed ASAP

Re: Tie-Rod replacement?

i had someone do it, because you need to align the wheels again after they are installed.
