Rep Power: 0 OBX Exhaust Sys....
Hey everyone, just got my new OBX-R B3 Bomb catback exhaust put on. It sounds great. There is only one problem that I need your help on. The muffler kind of hits the bottom of the bumper and I am worried that when the muffler gets hot then it will melt away the bumper. I was wondering if it will do any real damage to my bumper. If so, does anyone make any rubber holders that keeps the muffler held on to the car that are a little longer so the muffler and bumper don't rub together? Thanks for your help!

Rep Power: 0 i got it 2. sounds tight. and its one of the only systems i've seen/heard were the silincer silinces
go to an exhaust shop or a car parts store and get longer hangers $4 or less. you have to doo this on several exhausts. the stock hangers are to short. . yes your bumper can melt from the heat. replace the hangers and you'll be fine . i've had mine for 4 months know with no problems.

Rep Power: 0 don't worry about melting, the muffler and exhaust tip never really even get hot. By the time the exhaust reaches the mufflers it's cooled down quite a bit.
But yes.. get him to heat up the exhaust hanger and make it a wee bit longer.
Cheers
