i just put my new tyc altezza lights. since the turn signals are now clear, tyc gave me amber bulbs to replace the white stock ones. the amber bulbs look ugly with the lights so i replaced them with red ones. i just wanted to know if it was legal to have red bulbs for your turn signals. i figured they would because our stock tail lights have red turn signals too.

yeah red bulbs are legal. only in the back though (at least in Texas that is)[IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/IMG]

I could be wrong but I don't think they are. At least, I've never seen anybody with them.

Seeing as the rear turn signal on the stock tail light assembly is red anyhow... Nope.. red is legal for rear turn signal.. Front must be Orange, amber or red..

Red bulbs are legal. White are usually illegal.

thanks for responding. i thought they were legal. only reason i asked was because the package they came in said they were for show purposes only and the amber colored bulbs were for daily driveing.

I know that in illinois for the front turn signals you can have white or amber and in the rear turn signals you can have red or amber
