Since my last post back in this thread back in 2006, here's my latest update.
I've replaced the cracked exhaust manifold, all my coil packs and 3 of the door lock actuator back in 2007, went back to NGK plugs instead of the plat4 bosch in 2008. Everything is still OEM, my clutch is still original since day 1.
Couldn't do it all without the folks in this site with there input.
I have moved on from CA to AZ so I can have a better quality of life, the 92mi each way to and from work was killing me. Now I do 50mi. each way but the AZ traffic is nothing compared to CA.
Here's the..., sorry for the blurry camera phone pic. I took this back in November this year. Oh btw, I still get 515mi. or so on a full tank, which is GREAT!

Latest mileage update.... need to get timing belt replaced again, but this time I think I will do it myself. Still on the OE clutch and tranny, gotta love the Honda!

i bought my 00 with high mileage. just about to hit 189,000 miles. haven't had it long tho but i'm a firm believer in honda quality having put 120,000 miles on my honda spirit with no problems. i drive it like i stole it, and change the oil every 3-4000k miles but contemplating synthetic to to increase time between changes. i get close to 400 miles to the tank and don't burn a drop of oil. i changed the timing belt and water pump a week after i bought it coz it had 180,000 on it an had never been changed! my rotors have been givin me issues lately. they've already been turned once right before i bought it so i'm just going to replace them. i've got no mods, just an open air filter, muffler and a small drop on the suspension all done by the previous owner. oh an my ricie headlights

My 02 Civic LX 5 speed was at 99,900 driving to work this morning. Changed my timing belt, water pump, auto tensioner and accessory belts a couple weeks ago with the DIY posted on this forum. The car still runs like new. I have had to change the master control switch that controls the power windows bc my right front passenger window stopped working. This seems to be a common problem. Had to replace my driver side sun visor bc it broke at the joint. Have my SRS light on at the moment and will take it to the dealership to have them read the codes soon enough. Hopefully it's covered under warranty. I hear a squeak everytime I press on the clutch pedal. I think I need to grease some things up. Other than these minor problems, I have not run into anything major. Like I said, the car runs like new and I hope to keep it that way till I decide to replace it.
Oh and I hear a clicking noise on right turns only...I think it's bc I'm missing a few of those clips that hold the wheel well splash guards in place.

My 91 CRX has 299732 on it right now. I pulled in to get gas, reset the trip odometer and realized I only needed 268 miles to turn 300K. I barely made it out of the parking lot before getting hit by a Ford F250 who kindly put his front tow hook through the headlight, hood, valve cover and knocked the drivers motor mount out of the side of the block destroying the bolt holes. I have an LS/Vtec going in it now to get that 268 miles completd and hopefully 100k more. I bought the car with 282K on the D15 and then dropped a B16 in it because I just wanted more power. I lost 10MPG going that route from 40 to 31MPG but it sure is nice having the extra 100HP.

I bought my 03 Civic Coupe Auto. back in July of this year. This is my first car. It had 110,XXX miles on it. I just rolled over 113,000 this week. It still runs fine. It was previously owned by an older guy who babied the thing!!! So it is still in good running condition. I'm not sure wether the tranny has been replaced or not, but it has recently begun to slip from 2nd to 3rd gear. Hopefully this won't develop into something worse....

yeah just go easy on it in the winter til the trans fluid warms up. you could even put it in D for a minute or two (be careful the car doesnt drive away lol) and that warms the fluid alot faster than leaving it in park. then everything starts to expand and flow properly so you get normal operation. eventually tho you will need a new trans. but you have some time to figure out options (manual swap, k20 swap, different car, etc).

Nice! I really dont consider 100,000 high mileage. My civics about to hit 50,000 . If you drive your car at all your destined to get 100,000 in no time. My dad's 05 f350 dually has 275,000 and still runs strong .. I might have to post in a few years.

Have a 2002 LX, got it brand new, and it has 170K miles. It had replaced the timing belt at 80K a sensor failed and cause problems to the pulley, has to replaced everything.
The car had an electrical problem with was the inside fuse box, it was replaced, but it cause a major mess to the car, power locks, A/C, wipers, dome light stopped working, the break light in the dash was on all the time, replacing the inside fuse box fixed all the problems, but the dealer nor mechanics had an idea what it was nor how to fix it. Infinite thanks to this site for posting a solution for the problem. Also replaced an automatic transmission at 165K.
Oil Change happens every 5K miles, using 5W30, I mantain the car according to specs by the Honda Owners Manual, but some expensive repairs had to be done.

Wow just racking them up hey? My dad has an 07 Jetta I think it is and he just hit 190k. That thing with its diesel gets amazing mileage; about 800km for a 50L tank.
