Rep Power: 0 that's right i just hit my 10,000 and was wondering how do you shut off the Check Maint' light? Me and my dad did most of the 10,000 mi. maint. and that damn yellow light is buggin the hell outa me. I heard that there is a switch of some sort that turns it off, but i don't want to go to the dealership(don't wanna throw down 50+ bones for those scally-wags!).

Rep Power: 559 First, car off.
Second, Push the button that resets trip mileage.
Third, while holding button turn on car and keep holding til the light goes out.
Thats what saw when the dealership reset mine. It dont cost any money at all, bc ur car is still under warranty, possibly. They tried to tell me 90 bucks, but thats only if they do all the maintenence stuff.

Rep Power: 0 Your manual tells you how to turn the light off. But just follow directions above...turn off car, hold mileage reset switch, and turn the car on, holding it in for about 10-15 seconds or until yellow light goes out. Oh yeah...don't take it to a Honda place to get the 10,000 mile thing done. I just got mine done yesterday, and they charged $110!!

Rep Power: 307 I'm going to my dealer tomorrow to get it done but only because I aint paying for it and my dad pissed me off. So by making him pay for it I guess I will make myself feel as if I have won some sort of battle.

New member allready post whoring! I've never seen the maint. req. light myself. I always have it in for service ahead of time anyway. If you work as much as I do, it's worth a few bones to have the dealer do it.
