Rep Power: 0 Cruise Control not controlin?
When I use my crusie control on the interstate it works fine,....most of the time. It I press the Accel button it accels but if it downshifts it stays there. I then have to cancel cruise and re-set it. The cars under warrenty but is this a common problem of do I need the honda dealership for this one?

Rep Power: 340 The cruise control doesn't understand accelerating and staying in gear - it always downshifts. But it should get to your desired speed and upshift to get better mileage. You should take it into Honda if it isn't properly downshifting after acceleration.
Just as a hint though... I never use the accel/decel buttons for the cruise control. I just accelerate or decelerate to what speed I want and set it. If I wanna change, I cancel and repeat. The car shifts really sloppily using those buttons.
