Rep Power: 0 Will I Get Dominated?
Hey, anyone have any idea what my chances would be against a 97 Eclipse GST Spyder. I did a search and found they came with 210hp from the factory, but I couldnt find the weight. And just for future reference whats a good site to find factory info about cars such as hp, weight, etc. BTW, Im running all the basic bolt ons, plus a 55 shot of nitrous, will probably be a 65 shot by this weekend, and maybe even a 75 shot. Thanks in advance.

Rep Power: 0 even though i love civics, all the other guy needs is a new intake, that adds 15hp(wheel) new piping for his turbo that adds another 20hp, those things are fast with inexpensive mods.
find out for sure first, before you run.

Red Ecplise GS-T v. My Pulsar ----> Ecplise won (November 00')
When my friend was driving alone with me in his Ecplise on Florin Rd... I pulled next to him at a light and told myself.."oh well.. why not???" I wasn't in a good mood that night so I decided to give his Ecplise a good run... When the light turned green, I stumped on the gas and the Pulsar quickly took off as usual.... about a few sec. later.. the Ecplise caught up and passed me... after the drive..my friend asked me.. "pretty quick car eh??.. You let off the gas, didn't you???".... I just said yes... In fact.. I did try to keep on going but I guess the Pulsar was just no match for the Turbo charged Ecplise. 1995 Mitsubishi Ecplise GS-T: 0-60MPH 6.4 sec.

Rep Power: 343 with a good driver. those things are low 14s I believe.
I doubt the vic with even 75 shot can break into the 14s.
you'll lose, but I duno how bad. hmm.
but it all depends anyway, if the guy can't drive.. then who knows.

Rep Power: 0 You could win, 210+15 for basic mods=225-20% for drive train loss=180hp. You weigh 300 lbs less (take out ur spare for this run) and depending upon what jet you use you could make 185hp (110+75). So there is a chance in hell. good luck.

Rep Power: 0 i say no dice
2500lbs is a stock civic, not with bodykit and everything else
in that case, you forgot the include the power loss on the civic, 110+75 = 185, 20% loss = 148
but then again, at stock weight/modified wheel power ratio estimate, the civic has a lead at 16hp/lb while the gst is at 15hp/lb
i still have more faith in the gst, for the fact that the turbo is continueous power(after turbo lag, which i doubt is that much), while the nitrous is not

BTW i am taking into account the loss on the civic. IT dynoed the ex at 110hp.
However, I didn't subtract the loss from the gas because i'm not sure if it is rated at 75hp from the crank or the wheels.
If he has a heavy *** stereo or extra show-no-go crap then he might lose. Hopfully he is a really good driver.
I think he can take em.
