Does anyone know what the top speed is that a Civic Hybrid will go? I know the older models of hybrids did not go very fast, and that was one of the main drawbacks, but I've heard that the newer hybrids are pretty fast. Does anyone know how fast?

The Civic will get to 60mph in 12.1 seconds and run on to a top speed of 115mph

Wow- I didn't know the hybrid would go over a hundred miles per hour! I'm glad to hear it though. That way a lot more people will buy the hybrids. That was a major drawback when hybrids first came out.

I have read a lot of reviews but they mainly focus on the soccer mom details. I wonder if they can really deliver ongoing nonfluxing power.

Why do i get the feeling that speed is not exactly what they are going for?

Any car can go fast. I had a 600cc midget car that could reach high speeds if i wanted it to.
Doesnt mean its good for the car or that you need to drive it that fast.
