2 mile run as fast as you can

all categories are arranged by age groups andsex you must score a certain amount of points in each event in order to pass

to let anyone know who is interested in joining that is what the army looks for. i can get more info if anyone is interested. also i can entertain questions about the army if anyone is wanting to know something

PT tests are a joke. You can still "pass" and be unhealthy. I know you get more points for the more do, but still...most of the members at school don't do squat to stay healthy.

By the way, one can get a lot of stuff from U.S. Army HOOAH 4 HEALTH.com online health and wellness, force health protection, deployment health and physical readiness, medical info, interactive health calculators and quizzes, healthy self-help from diet to APFT advice, weight management, physi

And no, I'm not in the military, I just attend a military graduate school.

it's the same in the Air Force. guys i work with are horribly obese and still find the strength/energy to get a passing score. most of them don't work out either. we're supposed to have mandatory PT, but it doesn't happen on the flightline. aircraft maintenance lives by it's own rules. our PT test is easier than the Army's, but people still fail. it's pathetic.
