Plateau :( advice?

Well I think Ive finally platoed for a while. I got down to 188 pounds and have been there for a couple weeks. That brings me down to 5 pounds so far in a 30 day period which ends on the 14th. For the last week and a half I have also been on CLA along with my Mega Mens, I eat 3 times a day, low carb(only really at breakfast, cerial) and high in protein. No soda and no drinking. I work out 7 days a week. Ive stepped my cardio up from 35 minutes 3 times, to 45 minutes 4 times a week. And even intensified it more. I am getting stonger in the past 2 weeks my bench, curl have went up, im off my leg because I have a strained ACL in my left knee, and its slowely getitng better, but still doing low impact cardio, and plyametrics on it.

Any suggestions on dropping some more weight? My goal is 175. But from 238 I think Ive done damn good already.

I would put in a days rest and try to eat more than 3 times a day. The human body does a great job at adapting so like Rob said I'd try switching up your routine inconjunction with eating more. Maybe try some HIIT cardio or change your spilts. If all of that doesn't work you could try carb cycling which I've heard can also get you off a plateau.

I suggest taking a week off by doing just light cardio and keeping diet around 1800kcals. After that week, switch up your lifting routine and throw in some HIIT, like Frankie said.

Carb cycling will get your weight down. If you want "cut" (going catabolic rather than anabolic) then try carb cycling.

Plyometrics are not for beginners, and certainly not for people with strained ACLs. I think the general rule is you want to be able to squat 1.5 or 2x your bw before you start doing plyos.

Absolutely true. Plyos are no joke and can rip your legs apart.
