i am trying to run a bit further each night...it is working...but my shins are killing me..but i can totally feel my stamina and endurance getting stronger every night i run..it is crazy..thanks geritol
oh and no beers. Keep in mind that although you are making an effort and drinking a light beer, it still contains alot of sodium. You wanna watch the amount of sodium you intake because that also contributes to a belly pouch.
Don't forget about calories. I lost weight this year just by watching my calorie intake.
I wouldn't even worry about eating pasta. If you are working out then you will be burning carbs. You don't lose weight by eating less carbs, you lose weight by eating less calories. Fat contains twice as many calories as carbs and proteins. In other words, stay away from the junk.
^^^i have been watching my calories..so it is good to hear that from someone else..the main bulk of the problem is that i need to lose weight before i want to gain muscle...so i do watch calories, but i always watch when i eat my carbs, i don't rule them out, but i cut back on the more complex ones and stick mainly to pasta (1 or 2 times a week) and cheerios and maybe 1 sandwich a week...don't get me wrong, i am not going on a carbo diet, i did that once lost sooo much weight but put it back on in no time...so far just by simplyfying my meals and cutting out junk and running, i have lost about 10-15 pounds....all that in just over 2 weeks...
well i never really took any before pics ..but what i do have is a picture from around the time i started the diet...and i can take one now....they both will be me in clothes...none of this shirtless stuff yet...that will be a while
Peasey... run on grass if you can... that will be easier on your shin splints. Plus I'll give you some exercises to do to strengthen your shin next time we chill out.
