Quicker Recovery

well i just started training again (after a LONG LONG break and finally found my motivation). i did the usual jog, stretch, then run routine. that went fine. im starting to get into boxing so im starting to work on my legs. the thing is, i did some light workouts including leg lifts, squats, lunges(sp?), and a couple of other leg workouts. after it was all done, i was fine. the next morning, my legs were GONE. i literally could not get out of my bed without falling. this morning, same thing except i could walk better. i know that i am overloading myself and its bad and ive toned down some but i was just wondering, is there a way to recover quicker? will massages work? or is there any type of vitamins or pills i can take(all natural of course) that can help me recover faster? sorry for all the questions but im just pissed that i cant even do the leg workouts i use to do when i was 14 doing martial arts

dude it's expected.. my legs are always sore as hell the next day after a good leg workout. The only thing is, I don't do them as often now, because it pretty much prevents me from training.

Don't run on the day you're working out your legs. Have a good stretching session (around 10 min.) after a leg workout. Also, get some glutamine powder, it helps with muscle recovery.

Glutamine and plenty of protein in your diet.
