Dymatize Xpand

Wow... i just stumbled on the Fitness Sub-Forum today! haha

Anyways, has anyone tried Xpand and did you like it?

I'm currently using it right now and I'm getting some good results. I have about half the container left and since I've started it, my strenght has gone up slightly and muscle recovery seems to be a bit quicker as well. Size... I'm not really gaining THAT MUCH but I wasn't small to begin with.
My buddy, who's a competition body builder recommended I try this product and it's been working great for me.

Here's a link if you want to check it out CLICK ME

If anyone has any questions or comments... let me know!
I wanna hear the good and bad.

Oh btw... I bought the Tropical Berry stuff... it actually tastes pretty good

I'm not really into NO2 products. And seriously... 60 bucks for that?!?! It may work, but for that price, you could get two bottles of NO-Xplode.

I've found that NO2 products are cool while you're on them, but they have two main problems... 1) the results are completely gone after you stop using them and 2) you crash like crazy afterwards.

Then again, there aren't a whole lot of supplements I'm into right now.

Well my buddy works at a nutrition store so lets just say I didn't pay that much for it... paid less then half.

No-Xplode and Xpand were the two products i was look at trying. I may try both but my buddy didn't like the No-Xplode as much. Results were pretty much the same between the two but he said No-xplode is carbonated and gave him mud butt.

I still may try it after I'm done Xpand and if I do, I'll post a comparison.

EDIT: Just curious as to why you're not into NO2 products? Seriously, I don't really have that much knowledge when it comes to supplements like this.

I'm not into them because they're (in my opinion) an ego product. They make you look really cool and pumped up while you're on, but the gains don't last.

I kept a bottle of it around last summer and I'd use it whenever I was going to someone house and I knew they had a pool or a hot tub. Just do a little pump-up routine and you look awesome, but I've got no reason to use it in March when it's 46* outside and I'm still trying to just put on quality mass.

If I could get it for like 20-something bucks, I'd pick some up.

And yes, I always had to crap like 15 mins after taking NO-Xplode, too.

I totally agree.

I have no use for products which are of no real use. Using NO2 products are like putting on a disguise. The effect exists only while you are using the product. Not worth a damn, IMO.

It's used as a flow control agent and moisture absorbant in food products. In that application, it is not toxic.

civic_04 is an unknown quantity at this point
I tried xpand(orange flavour) felt a difference at the beginning, but near the end didnt really feel much. I think my body got use to it. It was worth trying but was really expensive and probably wont use it again.

Interesting read... maybe I'll take a pic of myself once I'm done taking the Xpand and then take another picture 2-3 weeks after I'm off it and see if I maintain or not.

I'll even post pics for you guys if you want to see actual results.

If you wanna post up pics, go ahead. Were you in my competition? If nothing else, you can get some honest critiques.

As for keeping gains though, I'd put money on your gains being gone by the 2nd week off. That's just the nature of those type of supplements.

I was supposed to be in the competition (I said I would) but then the thread disappeared and I totally forgot about it until now.

I'll be taking some pics to show progress.

hey I bought some of this stuff because they had it on sale.

I've only been taking it for 5 days and here's my impression so far:

-It tastes like vomit
-The serving size is huge (1 scoop=15 grams)
-They tell you to increase your water consumption to something like 64oz a day so I feel that any pump or weight gain is due to water retention or just plain being bloated.

I'll let you guys know how it's working in 2 weeks.

hey yea, bringing this back from the dead.

This stuff pretty much works. But, it works about the same as regular creatine.

You pretty lose whatever you gain after 2 weeks off.

I have to disagree. This stuff really worked for me. I've been off it for over a month and I'm still as big, or now even bigger, then I was before I started it. I may try taking it again.

btw... unlike YUL... I don't mind the taste (I had the Tropical Berry one). Whether you're taking this stuff or not you should be drinking as much water as you can per day. Cold water actually helps to burn fat.
