Question:
Did you simply add this product to an already existing diet/training program, or did you use it along with a specific bulking diet/program you implemented?

Thanks.

I added it to my existing diet. I'm telling ya... it really worked for me. I'm not here to promote the product, but rather to give feedback on it. If I didn't see any gains or lost it all afterwards I'd tell you guys not to waste your money.

btw... for the past 2 weeks though I've been on a Lean Gainer diet so that could be why I'm staying the same size/getting bigger.

That's cool. Not trying to criticize or doubt you at all. Just wanting to learn from your experience with the product, and was looking for some background info in order to understand better.

I hope you won't mind if I ask you another question:
Do you consider yourself to be genetically advantaged, in that you build lean muscle easily, or are you average in terms of lean muscle building?
Again, thanks!

I wouldn't say I am genetically advantaged (although I wish I was ). I'm not super huge... I weight about 155lbs and I'm 5'10" so I'm about average/athletic build (I have been told by several people that I look like I weight 170lbs).
I'll post a pic later today when I get home... I wish I took some before and after pics.

Hey if you don't mind me asking and if you have the time... would you mind taking a look at my meal plan? My buddy sent it to me and it kinda seems like a LOT of food. You're obviously in the health industry and you know your shit so I would appreciate it if you could look/modify it for me.

What I'm trying to do is put on more muscle and get ripped while trying to avoid putting on fat at the same time (it's beach weather !!! ).
For the life of me I can't gain any weight!!!! I know I'm putting on more muscle and loosing fat.... and I know muscle weights more then fat which is why it's mind boggling that I'm not gaining weight (I look way bigger then what I weight).

Probably one of the dumbest things to buy. Just buy creatine instead. NO products arent worth it at all

This thread got lively!

My observation with the NO products is that the majority of users retain no gains. However, there is a definite percentage of users who have documented kept gains, and R1Style appears to be one of them. So, it's a tricky item to evaluate. The same thing goes for creatine products. The best unbiased research indicates that only 40 percent of creatine users get any sort of benefit from their use of the product.

NoiSe makes a good point, that those with a particular metabolism and bodytype can build muscle while losing bodyfat, which we call "body recomposition". But, again, these individuals are a minority, so I would suggest that perhaps R1Style is more genetically advantaged than he realizes.

One more point for R1Style with respect to his appearance versus bodyweight. The human eye responds to the appearance of low bodyfat by seeing the body as having more muscle rather than seeing the body as having less bodyfat. It is not unusual for a bodybuilder, who is prepping for a show, to be told that he appears to be getting bigger, even though he is not. It is this visual response that competitive bodybuilders take advantage of, when they prep for a show and concentrate on losing bodyfat, even at the risk of losing some muscle, as well. Nobody wants to lose any muscle for a show, but the good side of it all is that, if you get ripped and dry, then the loss of muscle will be visually compensated for.

Good point.
Maybe I'll start measuring my arms, chest, etc.. to compare... then go have my fat percentage measured.

yea, I did used to the taste after a couple weeks. I would just chug it down so I wouldn't taste it.

I think I lost most of the "pump" or size I had I lost because I eased up on my workout intensity after I stopped (i'd been training really crazy for about 8 weeks). I also eased up on my water consumption so that's why I lost some puffiness around my shoulders and my abdomen.

The stuff is ok if you afford it or get a deal on the price. I didn't see any better results from just taking my regular creatine/glutamine mix that I made. Creatine mono is less expensive and gave the same gains for me.

Important advice: do NOT have a bodyfat measurement taken with a bio-electrical resistance or "Tanita" type device. These have become very commonplace, but this technology is not designed for individuals with either lower bodyfat that average or higher than average muscle content. You will end up with a grossly inaccurate reading.

What you need is a 7-site skinfold measurement, applied to the Jackson and Pollack equation. Any reputable fitness facility should be able to do this for you at a very reasonable fee.

I'm going to the gym today... I'll ask them what they use to measure body fat. Thanks again
