its real martial arts/ dance moves. if they had it where i am i would definitley do it. i had a friend who was like 30 that knew the fighting style and he explained to me that there are slight differences between the dance and fight parts. he said the motions were basically the same. i learned a little from him just to get a groove hahaha
It looks fun, and if the goals are just that - for fun, then I'd def. do it!
thats what capoeria really looks like. its actually originally from brazil as a form of dance that has several motions that are connected to give it that fluid look. that didnt look like to much thai; ive taken classes on that and it was more like kickboxing than his moves, lots of close combat fighting with low leg attacks, jabs, knees, and elbow strikes.
nonetheless, if theres a class on that, definately take it. how will your size come into play? id think im too tall and long to do some of those things without the risk of getting my ass beat. be sure to stretch to, some of those moves look like theyd rip some leg muscle.

if you've seen Ong Bak, Tony Jaa's style doesn't look like muay thai at first, but then you recognize the elements if you've seen real thai fights. I'm not even sure if his fighting style is pure Thai. It may be the really ancient stuff, or thai mixed with something else, I don't know...
Being that i used to do gymnastics and I can probably do all that, with little or no practice, i would have to tell you that it would be fun. But be prepared to stretch alot. To do some of that stuff you will need to be able to do all 3 different splits easily (legs straight out to the side, and 2 different ones with one leg to your front and one to your back). Otherwise one kick, flip, or leap and you are going to hurt for a week.
Ok I just downloaded Tom Yum Goong... holy shit. Honestly if you guys haven't seen the movie... buy/download it. I've never seen choreographed fighting like that ever... this blows Ong Bak out of the water.
