what happens when i....

i have 17.5" rims on my car and wnat to drop it 2 inches. but i dont think it would work. the rear wheels look like they would hit the body because of the slight lip that runs under the wheel well if you know what i mean. and i think the well itself is in the way for a 2" drop. if i took it to a shop to get it done would they shave back the lip form the body under the wheel well and cut out the wheel well?

i was just wondering being that i really wanna drop my car.

eddie what size tires did you run in that pic? i been playing around with the tire calculator, trying to figure out what size tires to get for 17" rims.

I had fatty 225/40 on my 18s a while ago and it would scrape against that lip that hurley was talking about, whenever there was a dip in the road.

I was going to go with 215/45/17 but then i remembered my 18s. so I went ordered 205/45/17 kuhmos instead.

i'm on Falken Ziex ZE-512 215/40/17 & i don't rub on my 2.25" drop. the only thing i have a problem with is my midpipe hangs lower than nromal so it scrapes sometimes. but you should be fine with that size on 2".
