Rep Power: 0 Dyno results with my i/h/e
Just got back. I also had him hook up a wide band o2 sensor to see my A/F ratio. It's been feeling like it bogs at first. The guy running the dyno said that my A/F is killing some horsepower. I'm thinking about an apexi a/f controller..not sure yet. He also said that I keep gaining power...to bad I don't have more revs
My current setup is Injen CAI, HP Header, and Comptech Exhaust. When I had my SRI (off ebay) and Hp Header, I was getting 146whp and 122.8 in torque...but that was with hitting the rev limiter. I asked him if that would show more, and he said yes, about 2-3hp at the most. Here are the two newest dyno, the one after the two, is the old dyno with I/H and notice the spike at the end

Rep Power: 0 I just put my stock exhaust back on. I'm wanting hondata as it will probably be a long time until I go boost. I'll be heading to the dyno when I get a chance so I can see how my whp I lost.

Rep Power: 0 had to spread the word. I'll be getting another dyno when I put the down pipe on with the 2.25" midpipe. I hope it is better than that one.

But I don't think I'll bother going to the dyno anyway...I go to the drag strip a few times and can never get out of the 15.5's. I always hit 15.5's doesn't matter what mods it seems. So I see it as, why bother?

Also, if you want some mods to make you go faster, you will probably want to get a supercharger or a turbo. Intake, header and exhaust can only do so much. I take it you met drag race, not drug race? Even if you don't drag race, you will want to go with some boost to keep up with the cars that are out these days.
Or swap your motor for a k20a2 (type s motor) and put some toda cams, springs, flywheel, clutch, header, exhaust, and intake, and reflash the ecu and you can get about 225whp and 150tq from what I've seen on this all motor setup.

Rep Power: 0 ok that's nice ,,,,, but i still want my car to look good.....i mean,18 inch is better looks besides my stock tire compare to my 18'' konig blatant is same weight but the handling is way better and looks way better too.i don't need to slow down on winding road especially now i live in whistler.not too much straight. i was thinking of getting i/h/ and downpipe but i think i'd rather save my money for supercharger or turbo. i don't know how to start ........ any idea???
ps: how come when i put h/i/muffler on my 1.7 el, it seems i lost power on my car??? this is one of the reason why i still dont want to put header, downpipe and intake for my 2002 SIR coz it might happen again.
please help more........ i have 2002 SIR

Rep Power: 0 with the same setup on your SiR, youll see a little better power gain, but, probbably not the gains youre lookin for. in your case youll want to go with a header/supercharger, though its not for me, it sounds like thats what you want
