I still think people are hyping Obama too much. No way in hell can he solve all of the country's problems. I think he believes he has a mandate from the people to do whatever the hell he wants because so many people voted for him. That results in a dangerous leader.

how is that? this thread was in regard to his first day with power, and he did more than any pres. in recent history.
i believe people have so much faith in the man because he follows little political agenda, and makes decisions based on what is generally considered right, using logic, experience, and mistakes in his own past and, more importantly, mistakes from others' past. that is what makes him an excellent leader and decision maker. nobdy, especially rj, has a valid reason to dislike him that he/she has stated yet. you won't give the guy a chance, you just made your decisions long ago that you hate this man, and so you will always hate him. that, in my opinion, is REALLY ****ing dangerous.

exactly... he monopolized his persona based on how much people hated GW.
FAIL.
i do not follow him blindly, i just support the president until i have reason not to. i give people a chance, whether i like them out of the box or not.
