I dunno... apparently he predicted the 9/11 attacks. I dont think that he'd be off by 12 or 13 years if he was actually talking about the end of the earth...
I came across it when I googled "commet end of earth" ... a little something i decided to do while i wait for the ritalin to kick in, lol.
EDIT: torrent wont download...
Scientist Call for Earth 'Backup' on Moon
Scientists hope to put a library of human civilization on the moon in case of a cataclysmic, civilization-annihilating event. It would protect against the wholesale loss of human achievement. http://www.spiegel.de/international/...502736,00.html
At lease we could send some ppl, or something remote, out there to blow up the astroid into a buncha pieces that would eventually end up being burned off by the atmosphere.
The UN actually had meetings back in feb to figure out what to do in case there was an astroid that was approaching earth... dunno what happened of that.
As for the 911 attacks...nope!
not a mention of NY in the least on that prediction, thats false info.
As for blowing the comet up...again, nope!
all youd be doing is sending a massive array of shooting fragments into
the planet earth, i watched an episode on TV where they were discussing
the issue of nuking the comets out there but the whole Armeggedon theory is 100% crap.
As for 2012...maybe itll be a few years before or after who knows...?
as for the 2002 NT7 asteroid....thats news?
the one i speak of is Niburu aka: Planet X
"In the City of God there will be a great thunder, Two brothers torn apart by Chaos, while the fortress endures, the great leader will succumb",
The third big war will begin when the big city is burning"
- Nostradamus 1654
Let the interpreting begin. Assuming "the City of God" is New York City, then the "two brothers torn apart by Chaos" must be the fallen towers of the Word Trade Center. The "fortress" is clearly the Pentagon, the "great leader" succumbing to Chaos must be the United States of America, and "the third big war" can only mean World War III.
1654? i think he'd be long dead lol
He died in 1566, nearly a hundred years before the date given, 1654.
Let's go back and apply a little intellectual honesty to our analysis. What earthly (or unearthly) justification could there possibly be for describing New York City as "the City of God?" Why would the great seer refer to the World Trade Center towers as "two brothers" when a more apt word like "buildings" or "monuments" — or even, egad, "towers" — is at hand? Granted, the word "fortress" is not a completely unreasonable moniker for the Pentagon, but by what stretch of the imagination could one justifiably assert that the United States "succumbed" to the 9/11
Okay fine, maybe Nas was BS (internet gossip sure has changed since I last read about it!).. and maybe u cant blast it into a million pieces.. well, I'm sure you can, but we just havent figured it out yet. Having a large massive object to pull on the astroid out of the path is pretty much not going to happen anytime soon unless its one of our planets... and technically it should have a greater chance of hitting the sun then our planet... or maybe even getting scooped up by jupiter, although I remember jupiter having a low gravational pull- hence why it hasnt condensed like the other planets. But If it were to hit the sun, i'm not an expert, but it'd burn up for the most part, and then when/if it did make contact, then it'd be absorbed by the sun and sink through and ultimately melt, and through fussion (or is it fision?) it'd end up breaking down and sinking to the sun's iron core.... OKay anyways, my point is that we wouldnt be screwed, possibly.
