bad idea my ass, as you saw they were captured and humiliated on tv and no body could do shit about it, no body is in position to attack iran right now, they know disaster awaits if they do. they tried in 1990's, they used Iraq to attack iran with full western support for Saddam, the war took 8 years, saddam ended up losing 300000 soldiers and iran won the war. persians are different than arabs, no foreigner has ever been able to rule them throughout the history and they don't take shit from nobody, and now they have sent a clear message to british and americans to not fuck around with them. imo its in the west's advantage to respect their independance and make friends with them and make them their allies rather than trying to control them or invade them to take control over their rich resources, this kind of aggressive behaviour only makes iran more powerful in the region.

Well it would be nice if we all could get along but I am not in a position to set that into motion.

Nope, f'ing with Iran is going to be bad juju. Those guys don't mess around. I'm not looking forward to deploying there. Its pretty much inevitable if you ask me, and when it happens, its not going to be pretty. Both from a political front and from a body count front - on our side. I agree with ExClusive's ideas of not messing with them, but I don't think its going to happen. They have too much control and power. We Americans as a country, don't feel comfortable around people like that, especially if they are a Mideast nuclear-capable country.
That's my political .02, and that's all you get. I don't vote, never have, never will. Not my job and I don't consider myself informed enough to make an educated choice on a candidate. To me it doesn't matter anyway. As long as he supports capitalism, free trade, and democracy, I'm happy. The rest will figure itself out. My job is to kill people who pose a threat to our nation, its someone else's job to vote in whoever gives me the order to do so.

but seriously, I hope they don't fuck around and just become friends! yesterday's meeting was a step closer imo, but still there's a lot of conflict of interest in the region between the two governments which i think they'll never be able to sort out. we'll have to wait see what happens

Well Clint we could just turn a blind eye like the US did when Germany invaded Poland but I think we all learned a lesson from that.
Personally I think That NATO should get together on this and flatten Iran's nuclear sites.
After that they should get together and clean the streets of Europe of all ragheads.

I agree the H-bomb followed by small pox and anthrax wait for all the ragheads to die then take there oil with ugly folk.

Besides the place is a desert, no worries of harming the vegetation or wild life, and the radiation would not harm the sand.
