Iran already has nukes, they don't have the materials to make them yet, but, they did purchase a couple of warheads from Russian smugglers back in the day, Israeli's know it, and Americans know it too, they have just kept it quiet. The nuke talk is all bs propaganda, what Israeli's are pissed about is that Iran has become a big regional power with leverage in almost all of Israel's neighboring countries, they want to go to war with Iran to stop their progress, but they're too much of a pussy to do so, so they're trying to tease America to fight their war for them.

So now he is calling my people "Pussys".

Let him suffer and remember. As many years as he’s walked on his feet, let him walk on his hands, and for the rest of the time he should crawl along on his ass.
Matt and Richard, you guys know what I do for a living. I will not argue about this.
Something needs to be done about the gov't of Iran. Period. If it takes a war then fine. I will put my flak vest on (again), sign out my M9 and my M4 and head back downrange to do what I'm doing now, but in much worse conditions.
Is war the only solution to the problems the current Iranian government is causing? Absolutely not. Is it the only one that will work? Probably. And yes, it will be very ugly for both sides.

You just keep saying the problem the Iranian government is causing, c'mon what problem? Seriously, please name one instance that Iran has started a conflict and then I can agree with you.
you do realize that you're talking about a conflict that will involve not only Iran and America, but potentially Israel Russia china England Syria turkey Saudi Arabia possibly Cuba Venezuela and north Korea will get involved and will eventually most likely escalate into an all out world war AKA end of humanity. Sure it’s cool and gets the adrenalin goin and stuff but guess what, we'll all die. Putin is in Iran as we speak looks like he has already picked his side in the fight. We shall wait and see what happens.
But I can tell you, Russia and china will not let the US & A put their hands on Iran. Chinese economy is way too dependent on Iranian oil and Russia needs Iran because of its sensitive strategic position (take a look at Iran on the map and you’ll see) plus, do not underestimate the Iranians, Iran's military was called the Middle East's most powerful by General John Abizaid chief of United States Central Command. They have almost 13 million people in their military! They also have a great independent military industry, they have produced their own tanks, armored personnel carriers, guided missiles, submarines, and fighter planes since 1992 (wikipedia). Not saying they are of any match to US’s defense industry but that’s pretty darn impressive.
The problem is that Iran is very intelligent in the way it conducts business. Both sides (Iraq and Iran) have been using the Kurds to incite and quell conflict for the other, pretty much throughout history. It keeps it's hands clean by using other parties to do it's business. Any other examples, I'm not going to go into.
I do not relish the idea of going to war with Iran, for all the reasons that you have stated. It will be big, nasty, and involve a lot of countries who back Iran, who also happen to pack a serious punch. A diplomatic solution is the optimal one here. Unfortunately we're not really known for that. Additionally, a lot of the EU and NATO countries will probably not back the US because of the very reason. We do have the benefit of being on a completely separate landmass from Iran, not so much with Europe. Iraq was beat down, unorganized, and improperly led which is why we were as successful as we were. Not so with Iran. Much different adversary. We need sanctions and sucker punches to do this one to avoid A.) Large scale combat on multiple fronts against multiple enemies and B.) bringing the war to our own soil.
