Wow I couldn't imagine that happening especially with the internet. What I mean is this won't end up on the nightly news so in the 1980s you could get away with it. Today with the net though nothing goes unnoticed.
I hope he wins that. Not only that, I hope that it becomes policy to allow people to express their opinions to their leaders. Oh, wait, it's already our right! Although, you wouldn't know it with this administration.
Assuming this gentleman only said what was quoted in this article, he should win his case.
However, knowing how people present themselveves, he could have said more and chose not to make himself look like a shithead in the press.
