Well, according to the Congressional report RL33110:

Not only that, but less than 1% of all money being spent in Iraq and Afghanistan ($437 Billion by the end of FY2005) goes to pay for veteran's medical expenses. Way to go, Bush!
Please discuss this and make sure you keep it in your minds when it comes time to vote in November. We need people who are willing to resolve this quagmire.

What votes? I mean... what will the elections or however you say it be about?
i am afraid to trust anyone anymore. nobody sees the BIG picture yet, because, for most of us, life hasn't changed much... i just prefer to not be looking back in 20 years saying "what... the... fvck... was everyone THAT oblivious?"

yup, I don't think anyone see the big picture yet either. Or if they do, they choose to ignore it because they think that won't get them elected.
Uhmmm... yes they do. "Those people" are following their beliefs. Their beliefs are different (might I add EXTREMELY different) from your beliefs.
"Those people" are doing what they have to do to gain "eternal life" and martyrdom. Of course, if YOU wanted to do that, you wouldn't do what they do, right?
You have been doing that since 2001...Uhmmm... yes they do. "Those people" are following their beliefs. Their beliefs are different (might I add EXTREMELY different) from your beliefs.

Cultural difference.
I think it's a little screwy to believe that you need/should kill a human to go to heaven regardless of culture. But "these people" or extremist don't see non-Muslims as humans, but rather a step above animals and that they are the chosen ones, there for anything they do to the rest of humanity is just cruelty to animals at worst and "culture cleaning" at the best for them. Of course this is not all Muslims, and there are many other religions that also have similar beliefs, including some Christians, although few religions go as far as to kill their non-members. But I do see your point and agree with it for the most part, I just think their culture is screwy to say it nicely.
yes all of our beliefs are different...but there is only 1 god...and everyone that reads about the 1 god, are just about the same...
i dont understand why they say that god told them to kill, etc..i dont rememeber learning that...hit i went to CCD for 8 years, and went to catholic school for 3 years...not once did anyone say if you kill youll go right up to heaven...if it was that easy everyone would be killing and no one would try for peace...

You are going from a christian perspective, they don't praise the same god or have same beliefs. It's like if I read how cows give milk and you read how cows
eat grass all day, we can argue all day about what cows do, and niether of us are wrong. Obviously that REALLY over simplified, but I think it get my point across.
What bothers me about the two party system we have is, I don't think EITHER party can help. On one side we have John "D Student" Kerry, Ted "The Swimmer" Kennedy, Hillary "The Ice Woman" Clinton. On the other we have a rootin tootin semi retarded cowboy in office with ties to Big Oil. We've also got Darth Cheney and other cronies.
So what's the right choice? Not sure. I like the idea of Balkanization though. Turn the states into their own autonomous countries. But that wouldn't work because not every state could be self sufficient.
