The remarkable scale of this historical document reclassification effort highlights the diversion of resources that could be used to review of "Records of Concern" that currently reside on the open shelves at NARA. Included in this group of documentary records are items such as sabotage manuals dating back to World War II, instruction manuals on how to manufacture high explosives from common garden-variety materials, and technical documents relating to Cold War chemical and biological weapons programs that no one would wish to fall into the wrong hands.

im sure the reason is to prevent people from knowing what the government has done... and has nothing to do with preventing terrorist attacks which are generally carried out by our government anyways. believe it or not, it's all in the nsa archives, which you can view yourself. enjoy. i've been listening to alex jones more and more on 90.5 in austin, and he sounds like a nut job, but you can view all the resources for his info, which he encourages, at government sites and the governments national security archives in washington dc. i've looked into some of his outrageous proclamations and accusations on the nsa's webiste, only to find them to be 100% factual. he knows what he is talking about, and it is scary and hard to believe what he says, but is unfortunately all true.
stuff like this, people say the same thing you just said... "im sure there is a good reason for it... there has to be a legitimate reason for this or that"... yea there's a reason, but it's not good. it's time for people to stop believing the fairy tales our government (especially the clinton and bush administration) feeds us, and to start researching the info ourselves to get the TRUTH.
