Actors are about as stupid as you can get. Too much attention is placed on them. Why not hire an electrician or some other random profession? Just because they are used to being on Television, that makes them qualified? They are all stupid...

In any case, Hillary will win. Don't know who the Reps will run against her....

A ticket with McCain for president and Rudy or Murtha for vice president would crush all. You have a POW Vietnam pilot, and the mayor of 9/11 or another Vietnam hero. Yes Murtha's medals have come in to question but anyone who apposes Bush has their medals questioned instantly. Remember Bush's people called voters and asked "would you still vote for McCain if he had a illegitimate black baby?" then used the defense "we didn't say he did we simply asked would you still vote if he did?" They all would out democrat the democrats by having a plan to get out of Iraq. They would also be tough on crime. McCain is a border state senator so he would at least address immigration. They would be anti torture, and more pro military. It would be awesome if they could get Powell to come back out of retirement but Bush Thoroughly destroyed his reputation already and probably wouldn't feel like having his medals questioned.

I dont think the party would give her enough money. Everyone knows she cant win. John stewart said it best "that face is where boners go to die." The problem I see is the amount of senators we are picking. Recent history says Governors typically win and well known senators fall.

I still think Hillary will win. She's the underdog (no pun intended).

I think Gore would clean her clock. He already won the popular vote once. A ticket with Gore and Brian Schweitzer(Montana's governor)vs McCain and Guiliani or Murtha would truely be a great election. No one could say the best of 2 evils.

I dont know about Bill Gates. Yes, he is quite a genious, but I mean cmon, the guy passed on the internet saying that it would just be a "fad" and that "it will never last." He could have had 8 third world countries in the bank by now if he hadnt passed on it.

Being smart is not a prerequisite to being a leader or politician.

Little known fact: Einstein was invited to be the Prime Minister of Israel after... hmm, was it Golda Meir? Anyways, he declined, saying that he knew science and mathematics, but he didn't know people and politics.

There are different kinds of people, and having charisma, good sense, connections, and so on... that makes a good politician, intelligence has very little to do with it.

View your president as the diplomat to the world, and the CEO of the country. He must be charming to other nations while trying to get as much from them while giving the least. He must be able to appoint a solid board. Bill Gates would know how to make a sweet operating system but I doubt he would know who to call when everything hits the fan. Thats an advantage W. has. H.W. was a great president who W. can always go to and use his connections to find the right guy. Do you think Cheney would actually have anything to do with Bush if not for politics?

I absolutely agree and she's had something going ever since she and Bill got lambasted over her "helping to run the Presidency" during his first term, especially in regards to national health care. That's the only reason why they moved to New York: to set up residence and qualify for one of that state's seats in Congress. By doing that, she can claim having experience on a national level (unlike W, who only had it on the state level) and make a solid run for the Presidency.

Besides, look at the exposure she's already had. She's viewed as a strong mother and wife, mostly because of what she went through during Monicagate, and being in the public eye for as long as she has will only add to her marketable name.

Don't forget, either, that a fundraiser with Bill Clinton, pulling in $50,000+ per plate, would be a major financial windfall for the Democrats, not to mention the rallying he can do on the campaign trail for her.

I can guarantee that she'll run in 2008, 2012 at the latest, and am pretty certain that she'll win...

It's sad...

But you figure she's already got California and New York on her plate, and that's 20% of the population right there. So that's 40% of her "total" that needs to take, and she's already way ahead of the competition. Whoever it may be.

It will be under her that the USA will cease to function as a nation/democracy.... one of those.
