Real stupid americans are the the ones like this that I quoted.

Actually, they shouldn't even be called Americans. They should leave and start some country where people like them can think (or likely, let others think for them) and allow themselves to get invaded as they attempt to put their utopia into practice...

That place you talk about, the place much better than america, is called the rest of the world.
I have to say you are 100% a better "american" than I am. But thats according to the "american" stereotype.

I honestly respect your opinion. I completly understand why you feel that way, but I just don't feel that the US is so perfect. I just dont feel that the US is something to be overly proud of.

I can honestly say that spending most of my late childhood around europeans was the best thing to happen to me. Just showed me the USA from the other side of the fence, the one without the rose colored glasses.

America is not perfect. It's in pretty freaking sorry shape. Reform is blocked by those in power. Power is had by those with money. You can't get money because the system is screwed up and needs reform.

However, the USA has a whole lot of stuff going for it, that's better than the rest of the world. Freedom to bear arms is one of the most important. It's abused by a tiny number of idiots who gun down their wives or rival gangs, but on the whole it helps keep the moves toward stupidity (read: socialism) slower. Once that happens then the Gov't owns everything.

The line from that movie "V for Vendetta" that I saw in a commercial is incredibly true "People should not fear their government, their government should fear the people". Our government doesn't fear or respect the people, but it is still forced to throw them a bone once in a while. If the media moved onto the people's side, THEN the gov't would fear the people, and the country could actually work. But that's not going to happen any time soon.....

I don't agree with most of those shirts. but i am a republican/conservative. But people should judge a whole side of things because of a few people. you judgeing a whole group of people based on these examples is as bad as this group themselves.

There is nothing wrong with Socialism so long as the country is either just getting started as far as industrialization, or has a very small population. Socialism (in it's pure form) just does not work for big, developed countries such as the U.S. That being said, some Socialist ideas would and do work just fine (so long as they're managed correctly).

Also, that line you say is from "V for Vendetta" is actually attributed to Thomas Jefferson. The real quote is as follows: "When governments fear the people, there is liberty. When the people fear the government, there is tyranny."

BTW, these shirts are dumb because, 1. they lump people together in generalizations and stereotypes, and 2. they are extremely closed-minded. I mean, come on, speak English or get out? Islam is a dynamite religion? How closed-minded is that? That's what's wrong with this country: people are so selfish and egocentric that they don't care about the rest of the people/world so long as they're happy.
