That's possibly the worst analogy I ever heard.
Fact: Jews and Muslims have lived in Israel for 1000's of years, and they seemed to get along just fine for the most part. Before Israel became a country again, yes, more Jews did come in, but they didn't flood the region out. The arabs in the area were content to move out of Israeli controlled areas, even after Israel became a country, all the way until the Six-Day war when Israel beat the crap out of 4 arab countries that were about to invade them, and took the west back, golan heights, gaza, and the sinai. It was only after that, that the arabs in the area started calling themselves "palestinians". Some of them, at least, many of them were content to move into Jordan or Egypt and move on with their lives.
Yes, the Palestinians do want peace. It's the same kind of peace that every warmonger country on earth wants, a peace of domination. The peace that comes after your mortal enemy is vanquished. They don't want the peace that Israel wants, where you co-exist, like many hundreds of thousands of Arabic-Israelis. They want the peace where all Jews lie dead.
This organization, Hamas, is very closely linked to the Iranians that support them. Tyranical, despotic, psychopathic, fundamentalist.

WTF? I don't think Hamas will turn out to be cool in the end. The US along w/Israel and European Allies must take a strong stance on this TERRORIST group and should not even think of ANY negotiation or compromise. Iran is now just a step even closer to Israel now that Hamas has won the majority in Palestine.
