the cia said it was him.
—"The most important thing is for us to find Osama bin Laden. It is our number one priority and we will not rest until we find him." President Bush, 9/13/01
—"I want justice...There's an old poster out West, as I recall, that said, 'Wanted: Dead or Alive,'" President Bush, 9/17/01, UPI
—"I don't know where bin Laden is. I have no idea and really don't care. It's not that important. It's not our priority." President Bush, 3/13/02
—"I am truly not that concerned about him." President Bush, responding to a question about bin Laden's whereabouts, 3/13/02
—"Because he's hiding…" Bush, explaining why Osama bin Laden has yet to be captured. (Washington Post interview, Jan. 16, 2005)

Man that was such a stupid post. He wants peace? His version of peace is to have all of us dead, along with Israel.

His version of peace? Shit kid, you are retarded.

If you can sit there and honestly take what he said as truth, well........then I guess he has won. Seriously, believing this guy in saying that he wants 'truce' is exactly what is wrong with our country. Truce? Bullshit. Sorry. Not gonna happen.

That's one way to view it...

Another way is that this is the true core message of islam itself. That's how Bin Laden views it, he's called a fundamentalist because he believes in the fundamental principles of Islam... victory through decapitation.

In this case it's good that a lot of Islamic people are NOT fundamentalists, and that they are more peace loving.

ok, lets remember that people are willing to KILL over beliefs. simple yet powerful. since my step father and family in laws are Islamic, i would know that they are peaceful people. they don't argue for anything. they never yell, or are rude or anything of that nature. never drink. never curse. i mean its like the oppossitte of myself. i don't understand what your implying. i can straight tell you that the Qaran does not say kill others over your beliefs. its just that these extremists have taken the perverted translation of the word JIHAD.
christians had the crusades remember? they slaughtered for what they believed. it was an extreme version. same concept.

Except that "christians" during the crusades were anything BUT fundamentalist. they weren't even christians, just because someone calls themself something doesn't mean that they ARE that thing.

Fundamentalist Christianity is pretty much what Jesus Christ taugh. Christ = Christian. Christian = "one that is like Christ". Jesus didn't advocate any sort of violence, hypocrisy, hate... nothing of that sort. Not even war. Not even violence in self-defense. Obviously, you and I can both conclude that those crusaders were the ones using a perverted translation of their doctrine.

Actually, they didn't even know their doctrine, they were just following the perverted teachings of their church. This church follows anything BUT the teachings of Jesus Christ.......

your post really offends me as a Muslim...

Bin Laden views the religion incorrectly and is using the religion and his pathetic understanding of it as a method of bringing people to his side (ie suicide bombers). hes brainwashed all of his followers and its truly sad to see these people following his orders like hes some kind of superior. Islam stands for peace... Thats why you see all the Islamic priests condemning him and his actions. the priest at my mosque has went on public news stations and openly condemned the actions of the al qaeda terrorists.

hes not an extremist, hes not a fundamentalist either... hell, i dont consider him a muslim because muslims dont kill their own people... nor do they kill innocent people. true muslims would have resolved things peacefully rather then resort to the measures taken by bin laden.

"That's how Bin Laden views it, he's called a fundamentalist because he believes in the fundamental principles of Islam... victory through decapitation."

How dare you say that Islam's principles include "victory through decapitation". You think one of the fundamental principles of Islam is 'win by killing'? you could not be more wrong.
