And for those of us who don't speak/read Spanish, that means...?
personally i like how mexicans cant speak english or read and write. it keeps them down. Kinda like how we didnt let the blacks read. except the mexicans do it all on their own even when we have state run programs to help them. I mean imagine if they could speak english. they would be able to read the minimum wage posters. They could read the news paper and find better jobs. They could get lower finance rates because they could shop around at all the stores rather than be stuck going to just the place that advertises in "la fiesta"
I say let the mexicans think their big and bad by not learning the language. Hey thats how this nation was built find a colored man and make sure theres a bunch of them who can do back breaking work but never teach them how to do anything but break their back. except these colored people are doing it all on their own. so let them be cheap slaves.
However, there are better ways to get your opinion across than outright ignorance and profanity.
99% of the people in this country including myself speak some kind of broken garbage English anyways. The shirt itself is a disaster to the english language.
Besides, if the people that you want out don't speak English, chances are they can't read it either, so your shirt is worthless.
Not offended. However, the pilgrims didn't learn the native languages, they imposed theirs so this statement is a bit stupid, IMO.

Well, the reason they grow up to be gang members is because they weren't given the opportunity to go to school and get educated. Education is the sworn enemy of crime (I'm not talking white-collar crime here, I'm talking about street crime). If teaching in Spanish lowers crime, what's the problem with it?
Listen, I have no problem with people wanting other people to learn English but to say that they HAVE to learn it or leave the country is ignorance at it's worst. Diversity is the reason this country came to be as great as it is.
If these ppl want to go to the DMV, they need to take an interpreter; if they want to go to the post office, they need to take an interpreter; if they want to go renew their visa, they need to take an interpreter. Basically, this country is set up so that people who don't speak the language need to depend on others who do to get most things done. If they want to just know their native language, that's cool. They're the ones keeping themselves down.
I agree foreigners should learn english if they plan to be able to do things independently, but English is not the official language of the United States. English is only the de facto language because that is what language the founding fathers spoke and the majority of people speak. 12% of the population claims Spanish as their first language which is a significant portion of the population. The shirt doesn't offend me, but it is moronic to say speak english or get the **** out. Being multilingual is no easy task, I've tried learning Spanish but gave that up to learn Japanese. It takes a lot of time and practice to learn any language and the only way to truly get comfortable speaking it is to totally immerse yourself in the language. People that get pissed at other people for not speaking their language are the same people that probably have no respect for other people's culture and will never put any effort into learning another language besides what is required for high school.
