Well, first off most people that cared about their education strived for the advanced diploma. I chose not to go that route simply because I did not think it fair that we had to learn a foreign language, especially the only four that were offered. Spanish, French, German, and Latin. Believe me I have nothing against learning. I have just ordered the first of many books that I plan to use to teach myself Tsalagi(Cherokee.) After that I plan on conquering Japanese. As well as Welding and Automotive Painting.
yea you know what, its very simple. a sig like yours(draven) is why mexican people don't want to learn english. cause if you work with them and call them stupid, they nod at you, laugh and work hard, make more money than you and are better off.

no i didn't mean you. i mean the feelings of resentment towards them in the first place. like your a dying breed of random white guys in a southern state. i mean come on. im not saying you, but alot of people want them to leave and go away, but its for stupid reasons. like "they don't belong here" but you know thats a little hypicritical since this country is based off of foreign people. idk. just let them be.
Yeah, I don't mind there not being a pay-off... I just have a profound interest in that part of my ancestry and I figured what better way to learn more about them. I'm Scottish as well but, that's just "broken English." And I can Mimic a Scottish accent pretty damn well if I do say so myself.
The word "Cherokee" is a derived word which came originally from the Choctaw trade language. It was derived from the Choctaw word "Cha-la-kee" which means "those who live in the mountains" or "those who live in the caves." The name which the Cherokees originally used for themselves is Ah-ni-yv-wi-ya (literal translation "these are all the human people"). Most native American tribes have a name for themselves which means approximately this. However, modern Cherokee call themselves Cherokee, or Tsalagi.
