do you like being raped?!?! do you like being f*cked up the *ss?!?! Exxon reported a 9 BILLION dollar profit for last quarter! (last three months) this is the largest reported quartery profit by any single company...EVER! where were the "shortages?" if there was a "shortage," where did this profit come from? The American people got the sh*t end of the stick for the past three months!
Oil is a natural resource and should be regulated. we cannot go and drill for our own oil because the oil companies own the land where the oil is. imagine what the electric companies would do if their services were not regulated!!! oil and electricity are necessities and should be regulated the same. there is no reason why the oil companies should be allowed to do this to us and the rest of the world.
the world deserves an apology! the world deserves lower gas prices!

Yea this whole gas gouging thing has had him going for some time now and I don't blame him ! Gas wholesales at around $1.15 a gallon and has remained that way for sometime now, even through hurricane Katrina ! Which means they are making around $1.40 per gallon in PROFIT ..More then enough for Exxon to survive and profit without sending us into a recession in the time of war . $1.60-$1.70 per gallon is more then reasonable, since we all know the demand for gas isn't going any where any time soon !

In a nutshell: Since china and india are booming economies, they need more oil for themselves, the middle east is pumping out as much oil as it can all day, every day...If the demand was less then supply we would have 50 cent gallons, but we don't since we have to compete with other booming economies for the same stuff...capisce??

You don't know what the **** you are talking about, please show me one reliable link where the gas company makes $1.40 profit per gallon and i will pay pal you my weekly check asap, if not you pay pal me your check which should be around 40 bucks give or take some taxes, which ironically enough are applied to the gallons of gas that you buy every time you fill up

actually... wholesale gas prices are less that $1.50 last time i checked. add about .20 cents to $1.00 for state and federal taxes (depends on the state.. I think Texas is like .25) and thats close to what your local station pays.. +/- .25cents
