don't compare my need for a Dr. Pepper to your need for clean underpants; they are not the same thing.

you yourself don't need oil to live..having a car is a luxury not a necessity...how come you don't comment on my part where the oil and where the milk comes from and then post something meaningfull
because i haven't heard a valid point come out of your cocained brain! the only person posting against us that makes "educated" posts is Nick95673. although i completely disagree with his views, he seems to be an educated person.

you must have missed the post about the dr pepper and the underpants
if so, please sell it and car pool to all the places you need to get to on a daily basis and let me know how that works out for you
KTHX
huummm you are the one bitching about the gas prices not me, plus you make up your arguments that you lose $1200 a year by filling up gas...the $3 quote has been on the pumps for less then 3 months, now it is back to respectable 2.20-2.30

in fact - that is such a great idea that you had Mr Cocaine Brain that I think EVERYONE should abandon their cars and carpool, no - wait - that would be impossible. If we all got rid of our cars, we as a society would shut down -
You know what would be an even greater idea??? You finding out what car pooling means, then try to enforce it if your panties are that much in the bunch about the gas prices

I say we go back to the horse and buggy days, this way we can scoop up our own horse shit rather that the e-shit that is spewing from your computer to mine
I'm pretty sure you do scoop up someones horse shit for minimum wage as a job, otherwise you wouldn't complain that much

having a luxury car is a luxury - have a reliable method of transportation in todays world is a necessity - look around you - this is how we do!
Having a driver's license is a privilege not a right, having a car is a luxury not a necessity.

the comment on the milk has been covered - it was a poor example and you got pwnt!
How have i been "pwnt"??

PS - you suck at quoting
and you suck at life, get a better job that actually pays above six bucks

man, you haven't even posted something legible yet. i have a hard time reading your comments because of your poor grammar. i can't "pay you no mind" when you are posting in my thread.
oh, anything over $2.00/gallon is not respectable. it just feels that way after the insane gauging. when a gallon of gas is back down to $1.50-1.60, then you can call it respectable...now go sniff something!!!

I normally dont spend this much time online, but I just had major surgery, so I'm pretty bored and have all the time in the world right now to argue (hey - brightside - saving money on gas ) but all this laughing really is not helping my stitches!
your comments can't possibly be serious, can they -
$1248 is a lot of money - if it isnt to you, I accept paypal
I am well aware of what carpooling means - however you cannot carpool your way through life, it just is not feasable
You have no idea what I do for a living (as far as I know - stalker )
Having a drivers license is a priveledge, having a viable means of tranportation is a necessity if you want to function in todays society - if you were thinking logically you would understand that we dont all live next to the bus stop or train station, sometimes it rains or snows, some people have children to get to school or to the doctor, some people have medical condtions the prevent them from physical activities such as bike riding and some people work at odd hours or off the beaten path -

LOL, you are the one sniffing if you think that a gallon of gas is going to be 1.50-1.60.
Supply<Demand, be happy that it is not staying three dollars

You got to the $1248 number by assuming the gas price is $3 and up for the whole year when in reality the gas was that high for 4 months tops...

Guess what...i grew up in a different country where gas was over $4 a gallon, we didnt' have a car, we used cabs and public transport and *GASP* even walked when we had to get somewhere, doesn't matter rain snow or whatever. Didn't hurt me any as far as i know

theres plenty of oil! however refinaries are not growing on trees. No one wants 3 dollars gas. However even fewer people want it to smell like farts around their homes. The power shortage in Ca was less than 4 years ago yet when they tried to build a power plant about 5 miles from my house a bunch of freaks from Berkley suddenly knew everything about my crappy town and argued it away. They said it would be eye sore. It would have been next to a levee in the middle of no where with RR tracks right next to it and nothing but heavy industry around it. The signs in this part of town all had bullet holes in them. Even the signs that said no firing weapons. It wasnt the ghetto or anything. It was just a rural area that had cheap land and no homes around it.

I completely agree with HondaSales !! It is remarkable how an industry that has less competition than ever before can profit so handsomely on everyone else's troubles, more so how it can pretend that it's not gouging. But gouging is another word for capitalism as practiced today, so we'll probably have to live with it unless -- and this does deserve some investigation -- there's outright collusion in the mix.
But the best response to these pirates is to conserve. If we had elected officials who weren't so totally in the pockets of industry, we'd have long since embarked on a Manhattan Project for energy conservation and, ultimately, independence from non-renewable resources.
Someday, a politician will run for president on such a platform. He or she will win a lot of votes from people who are willing to sacrifice in the short term in order to help save this nation in the long run. Still waiting...In the mean time I guess we should just all drive Hondas' and conserve !!!
