Man, I hope you are kidding. Not make idiotic comments? Yikes, c'mon now guy you're old enough to know better than that.

Well, George and I are leaving Crawford today. George is finished playing golf and telling his fables in San Diego , so he will be heading to Louisiana to see the devastation that his environmental policies and his killing policies have caused.

Also, in all those photos you have seen when she 'protested' near Bush's ranch last month.......that's caled creative camera angles, there really were only 30 or so people there 'protesting'.

g'head, neg rep me for providing facts.

WTF Are you on?!? She's being used by the left like a pawn, and you can just look at the stupid grin on her face to realize that she's a complete nutjob...

"highly intelligent" is the last thing I'd call her. Partially because she DID make those idiotic comments.

regardless, -moved to political forum-

I eat my words alive. Read my edit. My bad, she is nutty.

You can't ignore the fact that she is right about the National Guard in Iraq, when they should be in this country helping our own people.

she may be right about that, but that's hardly her own idea... part of her stupidity is that she is fed words by the people that are using her, she's told what to say.

I saw a short clip of her on the news being arrested today, and she had the stupidest look on her face... somewhere between happy she was being picked up by two policemen, and excited to have all the attention focused on her. I swear, if her son knew what she was doing, he would roll over in his grave. She's such a disgrace to her son... and to her whole family, really.

I'm just sad that she's actually from Northern California No wonder everyone calls Cali the land of fruits and nuts

Well, many people (even hightly-educated, Ph.D.'s, professors, and highly-regarded scientists) have blamed the current hurricane series (the intensity, not the quantity) on our past environmental policies. Whether Bush's fvckups in the environment have taken so quickly I cannot say (I doubt they would but I'm not a climatologist), but I can see how someone would be justified in so doing.

Anywho, who a terrorist is and who a freedom fighter is depends on what side of the line you're standing on. In the abstract, al-Qaeda is a freedom-fighting organization but political propaganda will prevent you from hearing that in this country. Ask an Afghani, a Syrian, or a Jordanian and they will use those words to describe them.

I have no problem with her calling them freedom fighters. I'd also have no problem with her if she decided to join an al-Qaeda cell and plot against the U.S. (as that is her prerogative). Don't get me wrong, not that I want people to plot against this country (and anyone who does should be arrested and tried as such), but she is a free human being and is free to choose as such. It's kind of hard to explain but I believe in freedom and that entails many things that people today would like to ban you from doing (such as abortions, drugs, homosexuality, whatever your personal decisions and choices lead you to do).

That's not very American. You should support the fact that she has a differing opinion. If we all had the same opinion we'd never get anywhere in life. Also, the beauty of this country, and it's freedom, is that you DON'T have to go somewhere else if you don't like it. You have a right to petition the government to change to suit your needs and thoughts by voting for the candidates that support your way of life and by making your thoughts and lifestyle known to those who represent you.

Also, your last statement is very closed-minded and idiotic (no offense). I never took you for someone like that as I always got the impression you were an intelligent person. Everyone deserves the right to liberty and freedom. That is, to me, one of only two inalianable rights we have - the right to freedom and the right to life.

Now, after all that has been said, I'd like to say that I don't agree with what she has said or done. BUT, I do believe she has a right to do it. Like I've said before, I might not like what you say but I'll die defending your right to say it (I'm in the military so I fight for your right to disagree with her as well).

I will not support left wing, mouthpieces for Liberals.
And, I've f*cking had it with this anti-Bush, partisan bullshat. Millions of Americans Thought and Believe our PRESIDENT is doing a Great job at running this country and I do believe that if A Democrat(no liberals) had been elected they would do the best of there ability as well. Liberals on the other hand are so out of touch with reality and have lost ALL credibilty with this country that all they have left is to try and claw there way out of the well. You want to talk about deviding this country, Take the Confirmation hearings Of Judge John Roberts, Here's a man @ 53 years of age is going to appointed theChief Justice of the United States Supreme Court for God sakes. He's is articulate, Brilliant, His Integrity stands toe to toe with God and really has the best interest of this Country in mind but what do the liberals do? They hemm and hawww about 3 documents he co-wrote about vouchers during the Reagan adminastration(God Bless You Ronnie) and now is being called a racist, segregationalist(sp_) a bigot? Are you fvcking kidding me?

As to this prisoner abuse thing, go out in the battle field and watch your friends head explode from enemy fire or watch as a 6 year old girl walks up to 20 Us GI's in the green zone acting as she's got a cake and when the soldiers walk up to her a 1 lb bomb of c-4 explodes ripping the scalp and fingers, legs and arms flying through the air and you tell me these people deserve our compassion. Fvck You, Cindy. **** You for tarnishing the memories of every SOLDIER, MARINE, AIRMAN, SEAMAN, THAT HAS PERISHED SO PROTECT OUR VERY EXISTENCE. You and your type are more of a threat to National security than most of these radicals. You cost more Americans lives because with your mindless rants you give the enemy hope and momentum to carry out more attacks and kill more people. Im not trying to play the internet tough guy because I've got friends, relatives, etc that have been where they are and I've seen first hand what these monsters want and it is to end all lives of paleskin societies.

People like her are a disgrace to this country. They are so quick to jump on the President's back, yet they're afraid to stand up for their own morals, should they have any. She doesn't care about this country, she doesn't even care about her son, or her own family. She's got her own agenda right now, apparently, that agenda is being a full-time greiving mom. The sad thing is the very son she's grieving over and becoming a radical about is one that has a very much differing stance on this subject. He believed in our president, and believed in what this country is doing. She, apparently, doesn't understand the fact that Bush is doing all he can, and is feevrously going over the agenda and the motions with his aides. If she hates this country so much, she's free to leave at any time. It's people like her that are tearing this country apart. It's people like her that are bleeding the country dry of morals. And it's people like her that are teaching teh influential minds of America that it's okay to hate everyone around you because you don't get your way. To hell with Cindy Sheehan, and to hell with her agenda. She wants face time? Give it to her in the most cruel and vile manner imaginable.

Well, you wrote much here and I have to disagree with you on many thing. It would be very time consuming to take on everything point by point so I'll just sum up some points here.

First thing that comes to mind is that you don't know if her son supported the President or if he was just there because he had to be. None of us know that. You also say that she is disgracing her son's memory when, in fact, you don't know for sure if he'd be against what she's doing. So all those points, to me, are mere speculation. Also, you say she is dividing this country. That may very well be. But who is to say that she is pulling in the wrong direction? Think back to the American Revolution. Those people who fought against the British were traitors. Those who supported their king, and did what they considered to be right, were considered traitors after the war (traitors to America, not to England). Who was right? In the abstract I'd have to say nobody was. The same goes here. Cindy is fighting to save the lives of the soldiers who are out there dying as well as the innocent civilians who die by the hundreds each day. That's not a bad position and, from a moralist point of view (considering killing as being bad), she is right. If Jesus were alive today, do you think he'd advocate for the war or against? I'm not a Christian but, from what I've read of the Big J, I'd have to favor him arguing against this (or any other) war.

You also say that millions of Americans support Bush. That's true, but they are in the minority. Did you see the last poll results? Only 38% of Americans polled believe he's doing a good job. That's not only a minority, that's one hell of a minority. I dislike liberals as much as I do conservatives for one reason: closed-mindedness. I consider myself an open-minded centrist who will analyze all points for and against and come to a non-partisan conclusion (as I dislike both parties). I am a student of Philosophy and, as such, try to view everything from an objective and abstract point of view without letting my feelings or beliefs influence what should be done as I know not everyone has the same beliefs, feelings, or needs I do.

On the Roberts confirmation, tho, I have to agree with you. I think he's a fine, stand-up man. However, I think he's way too young to be nominated for Chief Justice and I believe that an existing Justice should fill that spot. But, you can't blame the D's for firing the questions and gauging his response. The R's would do the same if a D had appointed someone.

You forget I'm in the military and I see dead people all the time (not the actual bodies, but collegues and coworkers, and people I've served with). I don't like the fact that they get killed, especially if it's unnecessary (as I see the Iraq conflict, or at least to begin with it was). Do you know what really drove that conflict? You won't read about this just anywhere but Saddam was threatening to start selling oil in Euros instead of the Dollar and that would create a big inbalance economically for both Britain and the U.S. because we don't use the Euro. There is a book that just came out by a very highly-regarded economist (sorry, don't remember his name) where he goes into detail about it. This, my friend, was a very, very big factor in going to war in Iraq, not the co(kamame B.S. the President fed us. He took advantage of our sense of patriotism after 9/11 to sell us this war. I know because I was one of the first who bought it hook, line, and sinker. I even volunteered and did a tour over in the Middle East because I believed him. You know what, I was duped. I've seen it first hand. We were all conned. Simple as that.

Anyway, this is long enough.

Oh, I did a quick Google search and came up with this: http://www.projectcensored.org/publi...s/2004/19.html

Iraq had already switched to the Euro and that's one reason for the dollar's devaluation. Read the article and you'll see why the war is really about economic threat to the U.S. and not about any other form of threat.

It is also a threat to Britain because it could force them to accept the Euro, something they've been reluctant to do because the Pound is stronger. As the pound Devaluates against the Euro, they stand to lose billions of dollars. Same goes for the U.S. What a great reason to go to war over, eh?

Edit: Here is another good read: http://observer.guardian.co.uk/busin...900867,00.html

According to this article, the increase in valuation in the Euro was directly linked to Saddam changing the currency to it from the dollar. That also weakens the dollar by comparisson making it harder on the U.S. economy and trade.

Her son reenlisted for a second tour of duty. Something tells me that had he not agreed with what was happening, he wouldn't have reenlisted. Cindy Sheehan is a mouthpiece for the Liberal party. She's saying whatever they tell her to say, and has no original thoughts. And you can spout your Carl Rove stuff about Bush all you want, the oil being sold in dollars. This isn't about oil, it's about what's best for America. Those people there would stop at nothing to kill a white man, or American. As for the polls. You know those are biased right? Loko at some of the places they're polling. They didn't vote republican, I can assure you that. News outlets such as CNN, Fox, etc are doing the majoirty of those approval polls. They are liberal media outlets, so they're going to skew the numbers to say what they want. If democrats are so good, why could they not find one of them that could oppose Bush and win the election? Fact is, the majority believes in Bush and voted for him. Don't think for one second that a democrat would have done a better job handed the same situation. They'd be doing the same thing Bush is. Doing what they think is best. I don't always agree with his diplomacy, but for the most part, I like the way he's handling the situation. And I honestly don't think he'd still have troops there if he felt there was no immenent threat. This is America, and we stand up for countries that can't. That's what we've always done. You can disagree with me, but you're still not going to change my views. I'll respect you for your opinion, and still reserve my right to disagree. I don't like Cindy Sheehan running her damned mouth about shit she has no clue about. She doesn't agree. Good for her, but don't try to divide and conquer because you didn't agree with something your son supported.

Good for her, but don't try to divide and conquer because you didn't agree with something your son supported.

well said.
